.Richard “Buzz” Dressel -

Richard “Buzz” Dressel is currently the Business Manager of the largest International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers construction local in New Jersey, Local Union #164. This Union performs the majority of the electrical construction in Bergen, Hudson, and Essex counties. Before becoming the Business Manager in 1997, Mr. Dressel served as a Foreman and General Foreman and was elected to the Executive Board of the Union in 1977.

He is a Trustee on the Health & Welfare, Pension, and Annuity funds for the Union and also is a Trustee of Bergen Community College. Mr. Dressel is also a member of the New Jersey Employment Security Council, a position which is appointed by the Governor. Two other Executive Boards he serves on are the Bergen County Workforce Investment Board (WIB) and the New Jersey State AFL-CIO, which he is a Vice President of.

Mr. Dressel is married and has 2 children and 1 grandchild.
