Mark Stefanacci joined the Legal Department in 1999 and was promoted to Vice President of Legal/Labor Relations in 2003, Senior Vice President in 2005 and Chief Operating Officer in 2007. He provides legal counsel to the Authority on issues concerning the New York Giants, New York Jets, New Jersey Nets, and New Jersey Devils, and other sports franchises that utilize the Sports Complex. He also drafts license agreements, lease agreements, amendments, and contracts for sponsorships, advertisements and the occupancy of the Complex's facilities for concerts, family shows and other events. Stefanacci handles negotiations for new collective bargaining agreements for the 21 unions and 38 units at the Meadowlands Sports Complex and Monmouth Park Racetrack. Mr. Stefanacci is also an assistant secretary to the Authority's Board of Commissioners and is the Authority's Ethics Liaison Officer. Prior to joining the Authority, Mr. Stefanacci held several positions in State Government and practiced law privately. Mark Stefanacci is a 1986 of graduate of Providence College, and received his law degree from Seton Hall University, in 1989.
