Community Relations Policy
The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority will answer all requests, solicitations or suggestions for community programs and events. All requests or proposals must be submitted in writing on the organization’s letterhead at least eight (8) weeks prior to the event. Requests should be as brief as possible and present the necessary facts about the organization and event for which support is being sought. Requests are limited to one request per organization within a twelve-month period.

The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority provides fundraising resources such as prizes, giveaways, raffle and auction items to help raise funds for non-profit, tax-exempt 501c3 organizations in the state of New Jersey.

Event Ticket Donation
All requests for ticket donations are to be designed to raise funds for non-profit, tax-exempt organizations in New Jersey that have a 501c3 Internal Revenue Service designation. It is our policy not to donate tickets to be used as prizes, volunteer gifts or giveaways.

Non-Eligible Candidates:
* Individual/personal requests
* Political organizations, campaigns or candidates seeking public office
* Seminars
* Faith Based Organizations
* Organizations outside of the state of New Jersey
* Advertising request (Yearbooks/Charitable Publications)
* Discriminatory organizations or organizations with values or philosophies contradictory to those of The Meadowlands

On occasion throughout the year, The Meadowlands has the opportunity to host youth organizations at events. Organizations must be non-profit with a tax-exempt 501c3 IRS designation and be located in the state of New Jersey.

Processing Your Request
The Meadowlands Community Relations Department will make every effort to process your request within 1-2 weeks prior to your event. All decisions made by the Meadowlands Community Relations Department are final.

Following Up
We ask that organizations, which receive a donation from the Meadowlands, return the follow-up report specifying the amount raised by our donation and the amount raised through the fundraising event. This report should be submitted to the Community Relations Department at the above address within one month of completion of your fundraising event. This information must be received in order to be eligible for a donation the following calendar year.
