Filming Locations

New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority properties offer a variety of visually stunning backdrops for films, television and commercials. Expansive wetlands, winding trails and waterfront views provide natural surroundings with year-round adaptability. For indoor shoots, the Meadowlands Arena serves as a versatile, production-ready venue.

Conveniently located, NJSEA properties are easily accessible from New York City and are in close proximity to major highways, rail lines, Newark Liberty International Airport, and Teterboro Airport—the region’s leading hub for private, corporate, and charter aviation.

The Meadowlands Arena – East Rutherford

Once an iconic venue that hosted both NHL and NBA franchises, Meadowlands Arena has evolved into a versatile, production-ready space ideal for film and television. The arena features 25,000 square feet of usable space with an impressive 139-foot floor-to-ceiling height, offering the scale and flexibility needed for large productions.

Its professional-grade infrastructure includes in-house power, extensive rigging capabilities, onsite crew parking, and full-size loading docks—key assets that continue to attract a wide range of television and film projects. Past projects include TV Series: The Enemy Within, Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector, The Equalizer, Tales of the Walking Dead, and The Walking Dead: Dead City. Films: Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere (2025), Marty Supreme (2025), The RIP (2026), Fight for ’84 (2026)

Outdoor Locations

DeKorte Park – Lyndhurst

DeKorte Park offers 3.5 miles of scenic walking trails, waterways and gardens framed by panoramic views of the New York City Skyline. Trails include a boardwalk loop that extends over a tidal impoundment frequented by wading birds and mallards, a scenic overlook, and paths lined by marsh grasses.

River Barge Park and Marina – Carlstadt

River Barge Park and Marina is situated on the banks of the Hackensack River. The 5.5-acre site includes a boat ramp that can accommodate up to 30-foot vessels, a rowing and paddling dock, a scenic promenade, and a thatched-roof pavilion.
